Cons:

- Lack of shears
Overall Review of the Schmidt Brothers Bonded Teak 15-Piece Knife Set:
This is the perfect kitchen knife full set for home chefs. The Schmidt Brothers Bonded teak knife set will do everything you need a kitchen knife set to do and has enough steak knives for most families. The Schmidt Brothers bonded teak handles feel like they are meant for your hands, they are also nicely weighted. I really like this set.
The sharpener is user-friendly, ensuring you always have a sharp edge. Because it’s made from best German knife steel, it’s likely to last you a long time. This type of steel is found on higher more expensive knife sets so it is a nice find to see a set like this at this price.
While shears would be a nice addition to the set, you may find that you don’t use shears. Price-wise it’s competitive with other 15 piece knife sets for what you get.
I love the look of the upright Acacia wood knife block. This is a nice way of highlighting this beautiful set of knives and would look good on any countertop.
The one big drawback is the maintenance of the Schmidt brothers bonder teak wood with oil and to avoid water with them. If you are set on a Teak handle set of knives, this is a good one, but there will be a little more maintenance than other knives may require.
Overall this set has an over 4-star rating n Amazon and is well-liked by its users.

Overall Review of the Schmidt Brothers Teak 7-Piece Knife Set:
If you are looking for a smaller set, then this 7 piece set is a great way to go. There are several wood options, and it still has the upright display that is offered with the 15 piece set we mentioned earlier. This set comes with several product options if the look of this particular one doesn’t suit your kitchen. The only thing that is missing is the honing steel for those of us who like to sharpen our knives like we see chefs do on tv. This set features the patented Schmidt Brothers Curve at the bolster where it connects to the handle.
This set is more affordable than the 15 pieces teak-handled set. You still get a good series of knives. This set of knives is similar to the Teak wood handle set, with fewer knives and a lower price point than you would expect. The German stainless steel means no dishwasher, but that is pretty much the same for every quality knife set, so if you are digging the zebra wood look, then this is a knife set is the right purchase for you.

Personally, I love the look of the Schmidt Brothers Bonded Ash Set. The German stainless steel blades with the ash handles are just gorgeous. It’s a high-end-looking set that is value for the money.
