Overall Caraway Ceramic Cookware Set Review

caraway ceramic cookware navy

The Caraway Ceramic Cookware Set is a top-of-the-range brand in ceramic coated cookware, with a reputation as one of the best. I know that those kinds of claims usually point to expensiveness, but not in this case!

At a very affordable price, this set gives you a range of ceramic cookware essentials, from a dutch oven pot to a range of different ceramic pans; this set has all the fundamentals to get you going in the kitchen!

Rated with a staggering 4.8 out of 5 average by real customers, the Caraway Ceramic Cookware Set is worth every penny and is indeed the top of the range in the realm of ceramic cookware. While Carraway products do not come with a lifetime warranty, the limited warranty may be sufficient in this instance, as it is difficult to beat this brand in terms of quality and reputation, not to mention affordability. The aluminum core is an excellent conductor of heat and you would be happy with the quality cooking that this set provides.

Overall, I strongly recommend this set to anyone looking to enter the ceramic cookware lifestyle because not only does the cookware look great in your kitchen (it comes in several colors), but its safe and healthy results will have you jumping for joy! Overall Tramontina Gourmet Ceramica Deluxe Cookware Set Review

Tramontina 80110/525DS Gourmet Ceramica Deluxe Cookware Set, PFOA- PTFE- Lead and Cadmium-Free Ceramic Interior, 10-Piece, Metallic Black, Made in Italy

The Tramontina Gourmet Ceramica Deluxe Cookware Set is a 10-piece ceramic cookware set by one of the best cookware brands in Brazil. While the company is not particularly known for its ceramic cookware, this set should definitely be considered.

With a range of ceramic-coated pots and pans, each with an aluminum interior for durability and ergonomic, stainless steel handles for ease of use, and stay-cool benefits, this set has it all and at an affordable price too!

On a final note, this cookware set comes with all the basics in terms of pots and pans, so make sure you’ve cleared out your kitchen space before purchasing this 10-piece beauty.

Lifetime warranty and aluminum durability are just some of the many perks that come along with this non-stick ceramic solution, and all of its cons are nothing out of the ordinary for typical ceramic cookware.

Unless you see yourself using this cookware set for “out of the ordinary” cooking, which requires intensely high heating, then yes, keep in mind that this piece will take damage at anything above 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Otherwise, this is a great set that comes with just the pieces of cookware.

Overall Xtrema 12-Piece Versa Pot Cookware Set Review

Arguably the best ceramic cookware brand on the market, alongside the likes of Carraway, this Xtreme 12 Piece Versa Pot Cookware Set is as versatile as they come (hence the name Versa, in case you were wondering!) With a range of different sized ceramic pots as well as a multi-purpose skillet, this set also comes with potholders for a convenient storage solution in the kitchen. This set is made with 100% pure ceramic, which means it specializes in being absolutely toxic-free, inside and out!

Essentially, this is the set you’re looking for if you consider yourself a strong advocate for pure ceramic because this set is absolutely metal-free! As discussed previously in this article, that does mean you will be dealing with not-so-stay-cool handles and reduced durability compared to cookware such as stainless steel.

With that said, this is some top-tier ceramic you’re dealing with, and if you truly desire freedom of chemicals and toxins, then this is the optimal route for healthy cooking, always.  You can learn more about them in our Xtrema cookware review.

Overall GreenPan SearSmart Review

GreenPan SearSmart Hard Anodized Healthy Ceramic Nonstick, Cookware Pots and Pans Set, 10-Piece, Black

Yet another great cookware set is the GreenPan Sear Smart Hard Anodized Healthy Ceramic Nonstick Set. A bit of a long name, yes, but it’s the only way to highlight what this set offers, which in this case, is quite a lot.

Coming in with a huge variety of pans, as well as a casserole pot, this set specializes in pan-searing, frying, and sauteing of all sorts. Infused with diamonds and GreenPan’s Thermolon Diamond Advanced healthy non-stick coating, this set is also hard anodized with aluminum for durability and long-lasting results.

If you are an induction cooktop user, I ask you not to look into this set any further. Other than that flaw, this ceramic set is almost perfect in every way. With an aluminum interior for lasting durability that can survive up to 600 degrees Fahrenheit, this set is also equipped with Thermolon Diamond ceramic coating, which is essentially a grade above regular ceramic coating.

By taking non-stick to a new level and backing itself with a durable interior and stainless steel ergonomic handles, this is honestly an excellent pick had it not been for its induction cooktop downside. You can learn more about them in our GreenPan cookware reviews where we cover their other lines, not on this list.

Overall Gotham Steel 20-Piece Cookware and Bakeware Set Review

Gotham Steel Cookware + Bakeware Set with Nonstick Durable Ceramic Copper Coating – Includes Skillets, Stock Pots, Deep Square Fry Basket, Cookie Sheet and Baking Pans, 20 Piece, Graphite

Gotham Steel is a leading American brand of cookware, and this 20-Piece Cookware and Bakeware Set is a great example of why the company is one of the best.

Finished with a stunning ceramic copper coating, this set goes beyond just the basics of cookware, even trading into the world of bakeware with some specialized baking pans (in case you fancy a muffin or two). Lightweight, comfortable, and oven safe for up to 500 degrees Fahrenheit, this aluminum-based ceramic coated set is both non-stick and durable.

All in all, this is one beast of a set. A 20-piece set with award-winning Ti-Cerama ceramic coating and aluminum durability, not to mention all that bakeware! Again, very hard to look past this set. If I were to take one stab at this untouchable beauty, it would be that, as its name suggests, Gotham Steel primarily specializes in steel cookware.

So in terms of getting the full Gotham Steel experience, this set won’t really fulfill that, although it does come with stainless steel ergonomic handles, and that’s definitely something to be excited about! In all seriousness, this is an incredible set at a good value, so if you need a kitchen make-over all around, I highly recommend this set for a well-balanced kitchen experience.

What Is Ceramic Cookware?

Now onto the first big question of the article: what actually is ceramic cookware anyway?

Well, the answer is rather simple. It is merely cookware that is made of a metal interior and a ceramic exterior finish. For those of you who are complete newbies to all this, here’s a quick definition of ‘ceramic.’ It is essentially a material that is made from some wet clay and then hardened with heat. Completed with a melting point of a whopping 2000 degrees celsius (or over 3600 degrees Fahrenheit), ceramic cookware can withstand ridiculously high heat, so you never need to worry about overheating or damaging the surface.

Best ceramic cookware sets

What Kinds Of Variations Are There?

There are two main types of ceramic cookware that you need to be aware of when entering this realm of kitchenware. The first is pure ceramic cookware, and the other is ceramic coated cookware.

As you can probably guess from the naming convention, pure ceramic cookware is essentially cookware that is made completely from ceramic. This means 100% of the cookware is made from clay, minerals, and quartz sand, the prime ingredients that make up the material we call ceramic. This mixture of ingredients is hardened through extreme heating and then glazed nicely for a smooth, waterproof surface. Pure ceramic cookware makes up many of the highly reputable brands of cookware, such as Emile Henry and Xtrema pure ceramic cookware.

Ceramic-coated cookware is a little different, and as the name implies, it consists of only a coating of ‘ceramic’ rather than the entire cookware piece being ceramic-made. However, this ceramic coating is a different breed of ceramic to the pure version. Instead of combining clay, minerals, and quartz sand, ceramic coated cookware uses different ingredients for its coating. A hard film of polymer materials is combined together to produce a ceramic look, but not necessarily a pure ceramic material. The coating consists of non-stick properties, binders, and reinforcing agents and is usually coated over an aluminum base.

In short, these pans have a ceramic nonstick coating over a metal base.

Related: Ceramic vs Granite cookware and Ceramic vs Stainless Steel Cookware

Which is better Ceramic cookware or Ceramic coated cookware?

Both versions of ceramic cookware have their pros and cons, but I will quickly list out a few of the major differences to give you a clearer idea.

The advantages of pure ceramic cookware are that it retains heat more effectively than ceramic coated cookware and is also microwave-safe. Unlike ceramic coated cookware, it does not have a metal base.

Ceramic-coated cookware shines over pure ceramic in other ways, however. For instance, ceramic coated cookware is more ergonomically friendly, with stay-cool handles that won’t heat up along with your pot or pan. This is unlike pure ceramic cookware, which is completely made of ceramic, including the handles, making the entire item too hot to handle without gloves or mittens to protect you from being burnt.

Ceramic Cookware Buying Guide: What you need to know

Why Should I Use A Ceramic Cookware Set?

Ceramic cookware has many unique benefits that you can’t get with stainless steel or copper cookware. For instance, pure ceramic cookware is completely free of PTFE and PFOA, meaning it is free of harmful chemicals, toxic fumes, and hence a more healthy option for you and your family in the long run.

Another reason for all you earth lovers out there, is that ceramic cookware is made with inorganic materials, meaning it is made with an environmentally friendly composition. Due to its stone-like composition, pure ceramic cookware only requires one coating of ceramic.

In contrast, other stainless steel-based cookwares require at least three coatings of ceramic, which then require more heating, more time, and produces more carbon dioxide during its manufacturing.

In addition, ceramic cookware is almost twice as heat resistant as non-ceramic cookwares, withstanding up to 450 degrees Celsius of heat.

Furthermore, when you are whipping up a storm with these ceramic saviors, you can have peace of mind in knowing that they do not emit dangerous gases at high temperatures, unlike non-ceramic options.

So long story short, you should consider buying ceramic cookware set for a safer, healthier, and more environmentally-friendly choice.

Ceramic Cookware vs. Stainless Steel Cookware

While this is indeed a ceramic cookware review, it is by no means a biased one! I will be as factual and objective as I can with this section, so just take in the facts, and leave opinions out for now.

Ceramic cookware and stainless steel cookware are great cookware choices, but there is always one that will suit you better than the other, based on your needs in the kitchen. These two types of cookware are among the most popular options on the market, but for different reasons.

Let’s start by covering ceramic cookware and what it has to offer, followed by stainless steel cookware, and then a final review of each.

Ceramic Cookware

Fairly new to the realm of non-stick cookware, ceramic cookware is one of the most environmentally friendly and safe cookware options on the market. Perhaps the biggest selling point of ceramic cookware is that it’s toxic-free, and let’s be honest, we can all use a little less toxicity in our lives.

With all-natural ingredients, the ceramic coating is made of a material that prevents harmful substances from reaching your food. Not only does it prevent chemicals from reaching the goods, but the material itself is chemical-free to the max, as the natural minerals of the material are free of common toxins which are found in ordinary cookware, such as cadmium and lead.

One of the great things about this type of cookware is that they are excellent heat conductors. On the dark side, however, particularly with pure ceramic cookware, heating at high temperatures could damage the material since the heat travels all throughout the ceramic pot or pan. For the same reason, this results in handles that are not so ergonomic as they heat up easily.

However, this is not a problem for ceramic coated cookware, which more or less explains why it is the more common choice on the market. Essentially, pure ceramic cookware is the better choice for the environment but requires greater care to use safely and effectively.

Stainless Steel

Stainless steel cookware, on the other hand, is better for withstanding higher temperatures and conducting heat more effectively. It is also more durable in general and is quite low maintenance to use, particularly considering that you do not need to deal with coating degradation like you would with ceramics.

However, stainless steel is not very non-stick at all, which is why people often go for combined solutions of stainless steel and copper cookware in order to compensate for the lack of non-stick properties. The heat conduction also lacks if there is no aluminum or copper core present, making it inferior to ceramic cookware in this aspect.

Stainless steel also tends to be more expensive than ceramic unless you go for some low-quality alternatives, which will probably do you more harm than good in the long run.

Overall Comparison Ceramic vs Stainless Steel Cookware

All in all, I think it is safe to say that the “pure” version of either of these options brings with them many drawbacks, which is quite reflective of life in many ways, as purist mentalities tend to be narrow-minded and often do not mix well with the greater majority.

To be more specific (and less philosophical), the problems present in pure ceramic cookware and pure stainless steel cookware could actually be resolved to an extent through solutions that combine materials.

For instance, the lack of ergonomic, stay-cool handles for pure ceramic cookware can be solved with the ceramic coated cookware option, which uses a metal base and stay-cool metal handles instead. Similarly, stainless steel cookware can solve its issue of being a poor heat conductor by using copper or heavy-gauge aluminum cores.

Now assuming we are talking about the better versions of ceramic and stainless steel, i.e., ceramic coated cookware and 3-ply or even 5-ply stainless steel, then we can more accurately compare and contrast the two. I would say that overall, ceramic coated cookware is still far more environmentally friendly than stainless steel.

So if things like the environment and safety from micro-chemicals is a big deal for you, definitely go with ceramic as it not only solves these problems but does so at a lower price than stainless steel.

On the other hand, layered 3 or 5-ply stainless steel is a lot more heat conductible, and with some options coming with coating on the interior surface, it could even match the non-stick properties of ceramic coated cookware, though of course, at a higher price.

Features of Ceramic Cookware

Ceramic cookware’s most defining feature is its non-stick coating. With all-natural ingredients and no toxic chemicals that could harm you or the environment, it’s truly got a reputation for being the earth-friendly choice of cookware.

Nevertheless, ceramic cookware is not without its cons, so in this section, I will go over the good, the bad, and the ugly in terms of its features. By the end of this section, you will be confident about whether ceramic cookware is right for you, and once you’ve grasped that feeling, I urge you to read the following sections on how to choose the best ceramic cookware! And if you decide ceramic is not for you, then you’ll definitely want to check out some of the other cookware we’ve reviewed. So without further ado, let’s jump right into it!

Pros of Ceramic Cookware

The undisputed most beneficial gain of ceramic cookware is minimized carbon footprint, which comes in the form of no chemicals, natural ingredients, and superior non-stick properties. With such an effective layer of non-stick coating, you really don’t need to bother with soaking your pan in oil or other fattening lubricants to get a smooth cooking experience. Little to no cooking oil is needed when using ceramic cookware, so you can definitely be sure that your meals will come out healthier in the long run. Not only that, but ceramic cookware is also very easy to clean compared to most cookware. This is because, for one, they are dishwasher friendly, which is surprisingly hard to come by with decent cookware.

However, even if you were to hand wash them, ceramic cookware is very easy to wipe off food scraps because of its awesome non-stick features. Ceramic cookware is also non-reactive to acids, meaning it won’t release metal contaminants from the cookware to your food when making contact with acidic foods, such as tomatoes.

To top it off, ceramic cookware sets come in aesthetic designs and beautiful bright colors, which can bring life to your kitchen, as opposed to stainless steel cookware which more often than not comes in silver.

If all that isn’t enough to give ceramic cookware a good rep, you’d be pleased to know that they’re one of the more affordable cookware on the market, as they were never designed to be “prestigious” or “luxurious,” such as brands like All-Clad or Mauviel. Rather, ceramic cookware is made for the everyday individual and puts the environment and your health and safety before anything else.

Cons of Ceramic Cookware

The greatest problem with ceramic cookware is that they’re not that durable because ceramic coating does wear off over time. While the durability of ceramic cookware differs significantly based on brand, the vast majority are not as long-lasting as stainless steel or copper cookware.

Of course, this is why ceramic cookware is indeed far more affordable, so it all comes down to compromise in this regard and what is most important to you in cookware.

On the plus side, it’s not much of an issue to buy a new ceramic cookware set when the time comes to be done with the old due to its sheer affordability and ease of access on the market.

Other issues with ceramic cookware include the risk of scratching the surface with metal cooking utensils. However, this issue applies to all cookwares with ceramic-like surfaces, so it’s definitely not a ceramic-specific issue but rather an issue with all non-stick cookware.

Ceramic cookware is also unsuitable for extreme temperatures, as the coating can be damaged if exposed to such heat. Finally, if you go for pure ceramic cookware, beware of the handles heating up, and be sure to use the appropriate mittens or related equipment for proper use.

Far-infrared heat

Unlike most cookware sets, ceramic cookware emits what is known as far-infrared heat. This type of heat is essentially the least damaging type of heat and is often used in saunas and steam baths as a healthy way to get the electrons moving in our bodies without causing us damage.

As such, when heating with ceramic cookware, you can be sure that the heat emitting out will not damage your food or your beautiful faces!

Far-infrared heat comes from the far end of the infrared electromagnetic spectrum, hence its name. This is why it is the least harmful method of heating, so I, for one, would love to cook knowing that both my food and I are in good hands and free from toxins that may cause us harm.

Dangers of Ceramic Cookware

As mentioned, using pure ceramic cookware can definitely be dangerous to a certain extent, particularly when heating to high temperatures. The lack of ergonomic, stay-cool handles, as well as the absence of a durable structure, can cause serious harm to you and your cookware if not used with caution.

Also, you want to be sure that you don’t damage the interior cooking surface with metal utensils, as this can negate the non-stick properties by ruining the coating. So you need to be sure to use wooden or plastic utensils, but if you opt for metal utensils, take extra care to make contact with the food only and keep them away from the base of the ceramic pot or pan.

Is Ceramic Cookware Safe

Overall, ceramic cookware is relatively safe to use, but just be extra careful with high temperatures, particularly with pure ceramic. So long as you are well aware of what you are doing, and being careful with metal utensils, then you really don’t have too much to worry about using ceramic cookware.

Indeed, the benefits you get, particularly if you prioritize your health as well as the environment’s, will far outweigh the potential risks involved.

How to Choose the Best Ceramic Cookware?

Choosing the best ceramic cookware means choosing a price within your optimal range and a make that suits your goals best. Other things to consider include the type of handle on the cookware, the warranty of the particular brand, its adaptability on different cooktops, and whether or not they are oven safe.

Below is a quick list to help you narrow down your criteria for ceramic cookware and hopefully give you a better indication of which brands to look out for.

Price

In terms of price, most ceramic cookware is very affordable. But there are legitimate reasons that some are priced higher than others.

While in some cases, higher prices are merely due to more established brands with greater reputation, there are also things like the quality of the ceramic coating and the durability that needs to be accounted for.

Make

The make of the ceramic cookware often comes down to either pure ceramic or ceramic coated, with the latter being made of alternate ingredients for a “ceramic-like” non-stick coating, but not actually made of ceramic.

However, despite this significant difference between the two, you’d be surprised to know that ceramic coated cookware is far more common on the market because it overcomes many of the flaws of pure ceramic, such as handles heating up and lack of heat conduction due to absence of metal.

I would definitely suggest checking out the ceramic coated options first because it surely has more benefits for you. The only time I would recommend pure ceramic over ceramic coated is if you are someone who prioritizes the environment before yourself, in which case pure ceramic provides a far smaller carbon footprint and overall lets off fewer emissions than any other cookware on the market.

Handle

The handle for ceramic coated cookware usually comes in a different material than ceramic because they need to be stay-cool and ergonomic to avoid heating up and harming your hand.

They often come with riveted stainless steel handles, so keep an eye out for this. Other cookware brands use silicone handles, which are just as good in terms of staying cool.

Important to note, however, is that heat-resistant handles do not always mean they are comfortable to grip as well, so make sure you go for something that’s ergonomically friendly for your hand size and preference. If you will be holding a pan constantly you want to make sure you have something with a comfortable grip.

Also, make sure the handles have enough grip on them so they are not too easily affected by wetness, which will slip right out of your hands. Trust me, you’ll thank yourself later!

Warranty

Not all ceramic cookware sets come with a lifetime warranty, so make sure to proactively look for it, particularly if the set you’re after is abnormally cheap, as this often means they are skimping out on some features.

It’s always a better choice to pay a little more for a warranty, so you don’t end up buying a whole new set when things eventually go wrong, but rather get it replaced for little to no cost. Read the warranty carefully, some have lifetime warranties, while others have a limited lifetime warranty.

Cooktop safe (some are not safe on certain types)

Important to note also is that not all ceramic cookware sets are compatible with all cooktops, although most tend to be. For example, the T-Fal Black Ceramic 14-Piece Cookware Set is not suitable on induction cooktops, and doing so may result in damage to your product.

Naturally, you don’t need a cookware set that is compatible with every single type of cooktop out there, but it does make sure it’s at least compatible with your cooktop. A simple two-step process really, know your cooktop and know the cooktop compatibility of any cookware you consider buying.

Oven temperature

Most ceramic cookware brands come with an oven safety of about 500 degrees Fahrenheit, but this is not the case for some. Unfortunately, some brands are only safe in the over till about 350 degrees Fahrenheit, which is considerably lower than average.

One such example of this is the Greenlife Soft Grip Ceramic Cookware Set, which, despite being considered a high-end ceramic cookware set, is lacking in the oven-safe area with a max of only 350 degrees Fahrenheit. This is indeed one of the weaknesses of ceramic cookware, so definitely pay extra attention to the oven-safe features of your desired cookware set.

Ceramic Cookware FAQ

If you are new to ceramic cookware, or you are debating between ceramic cookware and other cookware types, here are the most commonly asked questions.

What does PTFE, PFOA, and PFOS free mean?

Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) is a fluoropolymer material often used for medical purposes but more commonly known by society; it is what most cookware use as a non-stick coating. Perfluorooctanoic Acid (PFOA) and perfluorooctane sulfonate (PFOS) are similar substances that are used for the same purposes. The use of these chemicals has been controversial as research suggests they may be a health concern in and of itself, despite its intended purpose of shunning away toxins.

Is Ceramic cookware breakable?

Yes. While some ceramic cookware brands do a great job in making their products highly durable, there is no such thing as a type of cookware that cannot be broken with force. Nevertheless, with proper care and through following the company’s guidelines, they will last for quite a long time.

Is Ceramic cookware dishwasher safe?

Yes. Ceramic cookware is dishwasher-friendly. However, it is recommended to hand-wash to ensure they last as long as possible.

Is Ceramic cookware oven-safe?

Yes. Most ceramic cookware can take on at least 350 degrees Fahrenheit worth of heat, with others reaching over 500 degrees Fahrenheit.

Can you use ceramic cookware for cooking on all different stovetop surfaces and also in convection ovens?

Most ceramic cookware brands support all stovetop types EXCEPT for induction, though there are some exceptions. They can also be used in convection ovens. However, you are better off using ceramic bakeware in this instance, as typical ceramic cookware is not designed for oven baking but more so for cooktops.

Does Ceramic Cookware Need to be Seasoned?

No, ceramic cookware does not need to be seasoned, unlike cast iron pans, ceramic is ready to go out of the box.

How long does ceramic cookware last?

Aluminum-based ceramic cookware typically lasts the longest, and if properly cared for, can even last a lifetime. Pure ceramic will need extra care to reach such levels of durability, as they are fundamentally more easily damaged with high temperatures.

Are scratched ceramic pans safe?

No. Scratched ceramic pans may cause a degradation of the non-stick properties.

Does food stick to ceramic pans?

No. Ceramic pans are designed to be highly non-stick.

How do you clean ceramic pans?

It is recommended to clean ceramic pans with hot soapy water (via dishwasher detergent), and a soft sponge. However, you can opt to use a dishwasher too. Do not use any kind of metal during the cleaning process.

Is ceramic better than non-stick?

Ceramic is more environmentally friendly than typical non-stick coatings. In terms of the properties they offer regarding non-stick, they are essentially the same.

What kind of ceramic or porcelain cookware is better?

Porcelain cookware is typically more expensive than ceramic but may excel when it comes to certain recipes. It tends to be more popular among professional chefs but not so common among everyday home chefs.

Solid Ceramic vs. Ceramic Coating

Solid or “pure” ceramic is more environmentally friendly than a ceramic coating, as its ingredients are more natural, and the absence of metal means it has a smaller carbon footprint. Ceramic-coated cookware excels when it comes to durability, as it is infused with metals such as aluminum or stainless steel.

Ceramic vs. Metal Cookware

I would say metal cookware is a better overall choice when it comes to superior cooking and durability. However, ceramic cookware tends to have better non-stick options and is undeniably a healthier option and better for the environment.

Ceramic vs. Stainless Steel

Ceramic is more environmentally friendly than stainless steel and has better non-stick properties. However, stainless steel takes the cake when it comes to superior thermal conduction and even heat distribution, as well as durability.

Ceramic vs. Non-stick cookware

Ceramic is not necessarily superior to ordinary non-stick cookware when it comes to non-stick properties. However, it is more environmentally friendly and toxic-free than most other cookware and is hence a safer and healthier choice overall.

Why Use Ceramic Cookware?

I recommend using ceramic cookware if you strive to live a more eco-friendly life and are on a mission to reduce as many toxins from your body as possible. Also, if you like the look of ceramics, then definitely go for ceramic cookware to brighten up your kitchen with these ornament-like, artistic pots and pans. If you want more durability, go for aluminum-based ceramic pots and pans, but if you want fewer toxins and more eco-friendliness, go for pure ceramic.

Which is the best Ceramic Cookware?

Choosing the best ceramic cookware is no easy task, and all these brands excel in something different. I love the high-quality non-stick stuff, so I would go for the Caraway 7-Piece Cookware Set. I’m a sucker for aesthetics, and this is the best-looking set as far as I can tell.

I’m also not too fussed about maximizing durability and would rather get the full pure ceramic experience without the need for combining with high-carbon metals. The set also comes with a steamer and a mini egg pan, both items of which I see myself using on the daily!
